11,300 people were in attendance for the 19th Annual Triple-A All Star Game at Fifth Third. The game was broadcast on ESPN2. Former Mud Hen (and current Durham Bull) Kevin Witt was the game's MVP, going 3-3 with a home run and three RBI, as the IL topped the PCL, 6-0.

The “Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic / Toledo Mud Hens All-Star Bash" was held at Fifth Third Field on the evening before the All-Star Game. The event featured wonderful food, the World Classic Rockers band, and an eclectic mix of LPGA golfers, Triple-A All Stars and prominent Toledoans. The night was capped off by a fireworks show, launched for the first time from the High-Level Bridge.
